Minister Umerov gave a detailed update on the situation in Ukraine and the activities of North Korean troops, emphasizing that Ukraine is expanding its security cooperation with major countries like NATO and the EU. He also expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation with South Korea.

President Yoon and Minister Umerov agreed to continue sharing information regarding North Korea's troop deployment and the transfer of weapons and technology between North Korea and Russia. Conveniently located within walking distance of Incheon Station, it’s an accessible destination perfect for exploring both culture and history.

The Birthplace of Jajangmyeon 🍜
Did you know that Jajangmyeon, one of Korea’s most beloved dishes, originated right here in Chinatown? The dish was first created in 1905 at Gonghwachun, a Chinese restaurant in the area.

Chinese immigrants from Shandong adapted their cuisine to suit local Korean tastes, and the result was this savory noodle dish topped with black bean paste. Visiting Gonghwachun and tasting the original-style Jajangmyeon was an incredible experience. It felt like stepping back in time to savor a piece of culinary history, surrounded by the charm of the old Chinatown streets.

Chinatown Outdoor Cultural Space 🌿
A highlight of my visit was the Chinatown Outdoor Cultural Space (Han-Jung-Won). This tranquil garden was created to symbolize friendship and cultural exchange between Korea and China. Modeled after iconic Chinese gardens like the Suzhou Garden, it features traditional Chinese plants such as bamboo, roses, and peonies, as well as elegant gazebos and ponds. Wandering through this serene space, I felt completely immersed in the beauty of traditional Chinese landscape design while enjoying a peaceful moment in the middle of the lively neighborhood.

Chinatown is also a paradise for food lovers. I couldn’t resist trying treats like Gonggalbbang, mooncakes, and tanghulu (candied fruit skewers). Each bite added to the sense of being on a mini adventure to China! The ornate buildings and vibrant streets brought everything to life, making my visit unforgettable.
