The cabbage grows best in temperatures ranging from 18°C (64.4°F) to 21°C (69.8°F), but abnormal summer heat in major highland farming areas, such as Gang-won Province, is causing significant disruptions to its cultivation.🔥

Recent statistics show that the area of highland Korean cabbage farms has nearly halved over the past 20 years. According to the Rural Development Administration, Korean cabbage farming could drastically decline over the next 25 years, and by 2090, highland Korean cabbage might no longer be cultivated at all.⚰️

This situation is posing serious challenges to Korea's Kimchi culture and the entire industry. Maybe in the future, we might not be able to enjoy the locally made Kimchi.😢

A gondola lift is being built on Namsan in central Seoul and is scheduled to open to the public in the spring of 2026.🥳 The project aims to enhance accessibility to Namsan, which is currently reachable by foot, cable cars, or shuttle buses, following the ban on diesel tourist buses in 2021 due to environmental concerns.

The gondola will span 832 meters (2,730 feet) and will transport up to 1,600 people per hour from Yejang Park to the summit of Namsan in just five minutes.⏱️ There will be 25 gondola cars, each with a capacity of 10 people, designed to accommodate people in wheelchairs and those with strollers.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

탄소중립·녹색성장 기본법 제8조 제1항이 2030년 이후의 구체적인 감축 목표를 제시하지 않아 미래 세대에 과중한 부담을 준다는 것이에요. 정부는 2030년 이후 감축 목표에 관해서는 어떠한 정량적인 기준을 제시하지 않았으며, 2050년 탄소중립 목표 시점에 이르기까지 점진적이고 지속적인 감축을 실효적으로 담보할 수 있는 장치가 없다는 것에 주목되어 있어요. 때문에 이번 판결 따라 정부는 2026년 2월까지 새로운 기후 대응 대책을 마련해야 해요. 🌍
